Forget Free Speech…The Democrats Want You To.
Nancy Pelosi (Democrat-Speaker of The House who also has a 23% approval rating) wants to censor political radio shows.
She doesn’t want to censor out swear words or sexually explicit materials; the FCC already regulates that (Look into Fairness Doctrine). It is the actual CONTENT she would like to censor!!!!!!!!!
This would be the start of censoring news, radio, internet, and newspapers to cater to what the government wants you to listen to.

Anyone who listens to Talk Radio would know that’s not the case! As an American citizen, I should be able to listen to anything on the radio I chose to. Does Nancy Pelosi forget that these radio shows cost money to run? These shows have to be sponsored by the millions! Rush Limbaugh just signed a contract where he will rake in nearly $38 million each year for the next 5 years. He wouldn’t be able to do this without sponsors who believed in his message along with the 14 million people who tune in every week. Just because something is reality doesn’t mean its hate or racist. It is my choice to tune in, and it is up to the sponsors to invest money in his message.
Forget the 1st Amendment! This is just the type of thing Nancy Pelosi, and other democrats would like to regulate and will vote for! It is time for Republicans to stick together, because if we don’t this country is in trouble. Check back for more news and current event blogs from your Chapter Chairs.

Since no one listens to leftist talk radio, Nancy’s going to bypass the free market and make sure that we listen to it. Great post!

I suppose a 23% approval rating of Pelosi (and the Democratic-controlled congress) is CLEARLY a mandate that we bow down to them. They really don’t get it, do they? With that low of a rating, they should be lucky it’s not going to be a GOP bloodbath (as of right now). However, if the GOP was smart, they’d put together a media blitzkrieg to expose the Liberals. I guess Pelosi is scared that people actually listen to conservative media (because if it really was this “xenophobic, anti-immigrant” talk, wouldn’t people NOT listen to it?
