PA Federation of College Republicans Endorse Thought! Creative and Introduce Special Website Offer for State Federations

The PA Federation of College Republicans announced today their official endorsement of Thought! Creative, the company behind the recently-debuted PACR website (www.pacollegerepublicans.com), as well as a personal endorsement of the site’s creator, Vincent Arezzi.

State Chairman Anthony Pugliese stated, ”We were very pleased with the website developed by Thought! Creative. The quality of work and attention to detail exceeded our expectations”.

Through our partnership with Thought! Creative, the PA CRs have negotiated a special offer for any state organization looking to enhance their presence on the web.  Any State CR Federation looking for functionality similar to the PA Website but with their own unique design can have it for under $2,000. This package would include a Home page, Board Member Bios page, Events List page (with google calendar integration), a contact page, donate page, sign-up page, youtube, flickr, google analytics and wordpress integration.

State Co-Chairman Mike Ubbens commented, “Our previous website had very little traffic and was difficult to update. Now we can easily update the events in Google calendar and add blog posts as we desire.  Our traffic has improved greatly and our blogging community is growing.

For more details on this package please contact Thought! Creative at info@thoughtcreative.com and ask for the “State CR package”.

In Other News…

The PA College Republicans recently released their brand new website, making plenty of blogs throughout the state and even some national blogs. However, in the midst of all these blogs was one specific comment that struck me. The subscriber accused us of focusing too much on the website. There was an attitude as if this state federation were not doing our part as College Republicans.

If the website isn’t enough, where should we begin? It’s become apparent that of the youth registering to vote, the majority are registering as Democrats. This is where we should begin. In order to win an election as College Republicans, we must win the battle for the youth! But how do we get the youth vote over to the right side?

Guest Post: Eric Sweeney

From the Blog of Eric Sweeney, Vice President of Susquehanna University College Republicans (itsweeney):

So, it may be because The Colbert Report is on a two week break, or possibly since I just finished listening to “I Am America (And So Can You!)” on audio book this afternoon, but I have the sudden urge to give a tip of my hat, al a Colbert, to the Pennsylvania College Republican’s new web site.

As I have mentioned in the past, I am active in the Susquehanna chapter of the College Republicans, serving as the Vice-Chairman for ‘08-’09 and often have written about the events we attend or planned. We actually just launched a new version of our site last semester that was primarily of my design, but I must admit, the new state page puts my simple design to shame.

Welcome to the New PA College Republicans

Welcome to our new site. We’ve worked very diligently to get this site launched by this point, and our hard work certainly paid off. This site is one which will appeal to a wider audience. For our supporters, you can see what we are up to on our blog and events page. For those looking to get involved, we have a page designated just for that. On this page, you can find your chapter, or you can contact us directly to start your own at your school. Finally, for those already members of this great federation, we have several resources on our internships page as well as our blog. We hope to give each chapter chair access to this blog and they will be able to update everyone on this page with what is happening on their campuses. We could have a great dialogue on this page.
